Job Summary

This Service Technician role, based in Frankfurt and working for an EON subsidiary, is critical for ensuring the safe and economical operation of the company's hydropower plants. The daily tasks involve performing scheduled inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs to guarantee reliable plant availability. A significant part of the job is independent fault management and rapid troubleshooting to quickly restore operations. The technician will also supervise external service providers during major repairs and contribute to technical documentation, reports, and process improvement. The position demands high technical versatility, requiring maintenance and repair expertise across diverse systems, including turbines, generators, control systems, and crane facilities. Successful candidates must hold completed vocational training in either metalworking or electrical trades, coupled with fundamental knowledge of the complementary discipline (electrical/control technology or metalworking). Prior professional experience with energy generation facilities and proficiency in standard PC applications are essential. This is a fixed-term contract until March 31, 2027, with the potential for extension or permanent employment.
