Job Summary

This role involves supporting a renowned distribution grid operator by managing complex applications for photovoltaic (PV) grid connections, spanning initial review through to commissioning. The Energy Engineer will coordinate customized metering concepts with clients and organize necessary meter services, while also verifying eligibility for compensation and levy obligations under key energy laws (EEG and KWKG). A crucial part of the job is acting as the competent point of contact for customer inquiries, ranging from simple to highly complex technical questions. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a related field, possesses initial knowledge of the energy industry, and demonstrates strong analytical, conceptual, and communication skills. The position offers a full-time, permanent contract with a 38-hour work week, 30 days of vacation, and extensive opportunities for professional development within the energy sector.
