Job Summary

This Senior Electrical Design Engineer role involves leading the development and optimization of electrical systems for cutting-edge Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR). Day-to-day responsibilities include selecting components, creating detailed schematics, and overseeing the practical implementation of individual AMR systems. You will continuously optimize electrical components, particularly in drive technology and safety-relevant assemblies, while contributing to the design of complex bus systems like CAN and Safety over EtherCAT. A key aspect is acting as the central technical liaison between internal teams and external manufacturing partners, guiding products from the initial concept phase through to series production. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field, coupled with several years of experience in electrical planning, ideally within automation. Proficiency in E-CAD programs such as EPLAN or WSCAD is mandatory, alongside proven expertise in planning series products and prototypes. This is a long-term, full-time position offering significant development opportunities in a dynamic field.
