Job Summary

This role involves the scientific coordination and project management for the development of a crucial nationwide IT infrastructure under the genomDE model project. This platform aims to establish genome sequencing in routine medical care for oncology and rare diseases. Day-to-day responsibilities include the overall coordination and project management for the data integration platform, including requirements management, feature planning, and steering development efforts. The coordinator is responsible for communication management, moderating interdisciplinary teams, and managing stakeholders across clinical, research, administration, and IT departments. A critical function is ensuring data protection, data security, and quality requirements are met according to GDPR and medical regulations. Candidates must possess a degree in Informatics or Natural Sciences and multi-year experience managing complex IT or research projects, ideally within medical informatics or healthcare. Excellent organizational skills and fluent proficiency in both German and English are mandatory for success in this demanding, translational medicine environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Medical Informatics, Bioinformatics, Business Informatics, Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, or a comparable qualification.

Experience
