Job Summary

This role is for an experienced IT Project Manager specializing in SAP Basis Operations within the Information Technology department of the Ruhrverband, a leading public-sector water management company based in Essen. The successful candidate will be responsible for steering and coordinating external IT service providers and consultants, ensuring strict adherence to project goals, budgets, and timelines. Key daily tasks involve planning and completing test executions, documenting detailed IT requirements in collaboration with various stakeholders, and providing organizational support for optimizing existing IT infrastructure and implementing new IT components. Candidates must hold a university degree, preferably in (Business) Informatics or Industrial Engineering, coupled with several years of professional experience managing IT or software projects. Strong knowledge of IT architecture management and SAP Basis (S/4 preferred) is essential.
