Job Summary
The Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL) is seeking an IT Office Administrator/Service Desk Specialist to join its IT Service Management unit in central Berlin. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency, focusing heavily on IT Service Desk functions including Request, Incident, and Problem Management. Day-to-day tasks involve comprehensive user support, managing local application installations, and handling user administration and rights assignment. The specialist will also be responsible for the planning, maintenance, and security of Windows workstations (10/11, MS Office) and maintaining IT hardware and software inventory lists. This position is permanent, offers a structured onboarding process, and is open to both entry-level candidates and experienced professionals, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a vital public service agency.
Required Skills
Education
IT-related vocational training or equivalent qualification. Proof of recognition/equivalence for foreign degrees is required.
