Job Summary

This role, based at a production facility in Duisburg within a major metal industry group, seeks a qualified Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician. The primary responsibilities involve executing critical quality assurance procedures on industrial compressor components. Day-to-day tasks include performing various NDT methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT). The technician is responsible for evaluating and documenting test results according to applicable standards, collaborating closely with the Quality Assurance team, and actively participating in process improvement and failure analysis. Candidates must possess completed technical training, preferably as a Materials Tester, and hold valid NDT certifications (Level 2) in UT, PT, MT, and VT, ensuring the highest quality standards are met for components used in industrial compressors.
