Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Quality and Testing Engineer to join the software development team of a leading machinery and plant engineering company. The core focus is on strengthening quality assurance through comprehensive testing, test automation, and environment management. Day-to-day responsibilities include the installation, configuration, and management of system test environments and data, along with the design and execution of system, system integration, and acceptance tests for the Pexcite software suite. The engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining test cases and plans within an agile framework, actively contributing runnable, automated tests into the Continuous Integration pipeline. This position requires strong analytical abilities, practical programming knowledge (Python, Java, C#/.NET), and experience with test automation frameworks. Success depends on intense collaboration within agile teams and a commitment to continuously improving agile testing methods and product quality.
