Job Summary
This experienced specialist planner will be instrumental in the detailed conception and implementation of complex building automation systems, contributing significantly to energy-efficient and resource-saving infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities span the entire project lifecycle, covering planning phases 1 through 9 according to HOAI standards, from initial concept development to final handover. Key tasks include creating detailed control diagrams, functional lists, field device specifications, and managing room automation planning. The role requires meticulous cost control, including cost estimation, tendering processes, invoice verification, and change order management. Furthermore, the specialist will coordinate extensively with architects, clients, and technical planners (HVAC, electrical, structural), and oversee site supervision and contractor coordination. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, interdisciplinary firm and build the Building Automation department from the ground up, driving innovative solutions for smart buildings in Northwest Germany.
Required Skills
Education
Master of Engineering (M. Eng), Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng), or Certified Technician in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Experience
- Professional experience in the detailed conception and implementation of Building Automation systems
- Experience managing projects across all service phases (1-9) according to HOAI regulations
- Experience in cost management, including tendering, invoicing, and change order management
- Experience in site supervision and coordination of executing firms
