Job Summary

This role seeks an engaged professional to serve as the Database Coordinator and Apple Device Manager for a leading German food industry association based in Berlin. The position is part-time (30-35 hours/week) and initially fixed-term for two years, with the goal of becoming permanent. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining and developing web-based address databases and the member area (TYPO3), ensuring data consistency, and managing interfaces between the CMS and membership software. Crucially, the role also involves administering and configuring Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, MacBook), providing user support, and optimizing device performance and security updates. Candidates must possess a degree in Informatics or a comparable qualification, professional experience in database management, familiarity with TYPO3 backend, and practical experience supporting Apple devices. Excellent German skills are mandatory for effective communication with internal departments and IT service providers, supporting the digitalization processes within the association.
