Job Summary

This role as an Electrical Technician in Power Grid Service is crucial for ensuring the future readiness and reliable 24/7 operation of the local electricity network. Day-to-day responsibilities include the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical operating equipment according to established technical rules and procedures. The technician will operate specialized vehicles and measurement technology, document completed work using dedicated IT systems such as Lovion, and manage communication with customers and internal stakeholders. A key component of the role is participating in on-call rotation (Rufbereitschaft) to handle fault clearance outside of standard working hours. Candidates must possess a relevant technical qualification, such as an Electrician or Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, coupled with proven experience in power grid operation. Necessary prerequisites include holding a Class B driving license and being suitable for working at heights, contributing significantly to secure supply and the transition towards renewable energy.
