This role involves critical quality assurance activities within a market-leading steel service center specializing in quality and fine structural steel. The Materials Tester will primarily focus on executing non-destructive material tests, including ultrasound, hardness, and visual inspections. Key responsibilities include evaluating and meticulously documenting test results in compliance with industry standards and customer specifications, supporting quality checks for incoming and outgoing goods, and assisting in root cause analysis for customer complaints. Furthermore, the role requires the maintenance and calibration of testing equipment.
