Job Summary

This position seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Scientist to join the Molecular Neuropathology Group at Düsseldorf University Hospital, focusing on Alzheimer’s disease research. The core responsibility involves investigating disease mechanisms, particularly the role of ADAMTS proteases, utilizing advanced molecular and biochemical techniques. This qualification role is designed to foster scientific independence and project implementation skills, paving the way for future research leadership. The ideal candidate must possess a Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related discipline, coupled with a strong scientific publication record derived from their doctoral work. Essential competencies include comprehensive experience in molecular biology techniques and strong skills in tissue culture.
