Job Summary

This role as an Optical Laboratory Engineer involves advancing technology by setting up and testing complex optical systems using modern laboratory equipment. Key responsibilities include planning and executing precise measurements utilizing optical, mechanical, and electrical testing tools, as well as commissioning test and adjustment fixtures for optical devices. The engineer will also manage measurement stations, develop testing strategies, and meticulously document and evaluate test results, generating comprehensive reports. Candidates must possess a completed university degree in Engineering Science, specializing in Technical Optics, Physics, Laser Technology, Photonics, or a related field. Practical experience with laboratory optical setups and measuring instruments is required. Ideally, candidates should also have familiarity with LabVIEW and/or MATLAB.
