Job Summary

This role is ideal for an ambitious Electrical Engineering professional passionate about innovation in shipbuilding and marine technology. The Development Engineer will be responsible for the planning of complex energy supply and ship technology systems. Key day-to-day tasks include the independent development and construction of operating equipment, or the integration of electronic and mechatronic systems. You will handle the design, procurement, and analysis of electro-technical equipment, while also creating conceptual plans and comparisons for electrical energy generation and distribution, balancing both technical and commercial requirements. To succeed, candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, possess fluent German and good English skills, and demonstrate strong teamwork abilities. Knowledge of S7 PLC control, EPLAN, and electrical drive systems is highly desirable for this dynamic position, which offers flexibility through up to 50% mobile work.
