Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Application Developer specializing in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) to drive complex development projects for leading technology clients. The core responsibilities include the development and programming of MES applications, such as sophisticated machine-spanning visualizations and complex SCADA systems. The developer will be crucial in translating functional requirements from specialized departments into the process control level, assessing technical feasibility, and managing critical interfaces between MES, SCADA, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. Key activities also involve thorough software testing, commissioning at customer sites, creating project documentation, and conducting product-related customer training. Essential qualifications include a degree in Engineering or Technical Informatics (or equivalent technical certification in Electrical/Automation Technology), practical experience in project management, and deep knowledge of HMI/SCADA solutions, automation technology, and SQL databases.
