Job Summary

This role involves connecting technology and people by serving as a PLC Programmer, focusing on the development, programming, and commissioning of complex PLC automation systems. Key responsibilities include creating visualized operating interfaces, developing user concepts, writing comprehensive software documentation, and actively participating in the design and layout of machine sequences and control components. You will be responsible for integrating and qualifying software modules and conducting time-limited commissioning and assembly activities for special machines globally. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, or a relevant Technician qualification, coupled with practical experience in commissioning PLCs. Essential skills include proficiency in at least one major system like Schneider Electric PacDrive, Rockwell Studio 5000, or Siemens TIA Portal. The position requires a high degree of initiative and structured work, with occasional global travel (approx. 20%) for the commissioning of special machinery.
