Materials Tester | Werkstoffprüfer (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This permanent, full-time role is for a Materials Tester joining a leading group specializing in steel production and processing, located in Hagen. The position requires mandatory participation in a three-shift system (early, late, and night shifts) with a 35-hour work week. Daily tasks focus heavily on quality assurance, including preparing workpieces (cleaning, magnetizing, applying flux agents) and executing critical visual and crack inspections. A core responsibility is performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), specifically Magnetic Particle Testing (MT1 – MT2), to identify material flaws and cracks. You will be responsible for evaluating and meticulously documenting all test results according to specifications. Candidates must bring professional experience as a Crack Inspector or Non-Destructive Tester, possess strong technical understanding, and be proficient in handling measuring and testing equipment. The company offers competitive pay starting at €18/hour, along with holiday, Christmas bonuses, and shift allowances.
