Device Integration and Test Infrastructure Engineer | Geräteintegration & Testinfrastruktur (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves actively shaping digital technologies by focusing on the implementation and maintenance of automated test infrastructure, specifically for Software-Defined-Radio (SDR) devices. The engineer will be responsible for developing comprehensive test procedures, setting up and commissioning corresponding test environments, and integrating Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) test systems. A key responsibility is the realization and documentation of infrastructure components, along with implementing automated test sequences based on requirements and design specifications. Daily tasks include performing manual and semi-automated device tests and collaborating closely with Hardware, Firmware, and Software teams to identify and resolve issues, tracking progress using lifecycle management tools like RTC and JIRA. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Communications Technology, strong programming skills in Python, and experience with high-frequency radio technology and associated measurement techniques, contributing to innovative and security-relevant systems in a flexible, team-oriented environment.
