Job Summary

This role involves coordinating and overseeing various trades during the decommissioning of nuclear facilities, ensuring strict adherence to radiation protection measures. The technician will be responsible for meticulously documenting the tracking of radioactive and non-radioactive materials and waste, as well as managing relevant documents to ensure secure and transparent dismantling operations. Key tasks include data management within the client's system, such as updating schedules, plant data, and clearance measurement data, and planning and monitoring decommissioning workflows to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a background in energy technology, electrical and control technology, or a related field, with a strong understanding of radiation protection regulations. Required Skills

Education

State-certified Technician or Master in Energy Technology, Electrical and Control Technology, Industrial Master Metal, Power Plant Master Radiation Protection, VGB-Radiation Protection Technician, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in the decommissioning of nuclear power plants (ideally)
  • Experience with the German Radiation Protection Ordinance (StrlSchV)

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Unrestricted reliability check according to § 12b (German security clearance)
  • Valid car driving license
