Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position seeks a skilled professional, likely transitioning from traditional construction or trade work, to serve as a Facility Technician responsible for the comprehensive maintenance and operation of technical building systems. Day-to-day tasks include the continuous monitoring, control, and scheduled maintenance of various installations, alongside the independent execution of necessary repair work and general upkeep. A key component of the position is participation in the mandatory on-call service rotation. Candidates must possess completed vocational training (Journeyman's Certificate) in a recognized skilled trade, such as electrical, plumbing, heating, or even painting, coupled with a strong fundamental technical understanding. The ideal candidate is reliable, a team player, and keen to acquire new technical knowledge.
