Job Summary

Join one of Germany's largest internal EDI service providers at EDEKA's headquarters in Hamburg as an EDI Specialist, playing a crucial role in digitalizing and optimizing the complete supply chain. Day-to-day responsibilities involve supporting the integration of new business partners into the electronic data exchange system and meticulously monitoring the high-volume daily data traffic, which exceeds 100,000 electronic messages. A key component of this role is leading exciting projects focused on improving existing EDI processes. You will also serve as a vital interface to IT, formulating requirements for new solutions and overseeing their technical implementation in close collaboration with specialized departments, while supporting management reporting and controlling activities. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant degree or technical/commercial qualification, initial professional experience in IT or EDI, and specific technical knowledge of electronic data exchange standards like EDIFACT. Proficiency in SAP MM and SD modules is highly desirable, alongside strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and good command of Excel and English.
