Job Summary
This role involves coordinating projects within the education department, specifically focusing on the 'Startchancenprogramm' funding initiative. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising schools on eligible measures, planning activities within the funding framework, and initiating procurement processes. Key tasks include financial planning, controlling, and settlement of funding, as well as preparing usage verifications and acting as a central interface between schools and funding bodies. Additionally, the position involves preparing project and status reports and coordinating collaboration with the integration cross-sectional unit. Required Skills
Education
Successful completion of Angestellten- or Verwaltungslehrgang II, or a Diploma/Bachelor's degree in "Administration", "General Administration", or "Administrative Business Administration" from a municipal university of applied sciences in Lower Saxony or a comparable public administration degree, or eligibility for the first entry-level position of career group 2, General Services (for existing civil servants). Also open to candidates with a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Economic Sciences.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in project steering
- Professional experience in a public administration or administration-related institution (preferred)
- Experience in new municipal accounting systems (desirable)
Languages
Additional
- Class B driving license and willingness to use a private car for official purposes.
