Job Summary

This role is for a Test Engineer specializing in Electronics and Functional Circuit Testing (FCT) for a reliable partner in the high-tech industry based in Erlangen. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring product quality and optimizing testing processes. Daily responsibilities include the documentation and validation of product tests, strictly adhering to GMP/FDA guidelines, and providing ongoing support for existing production test stations. A key focus is on performing detailed root cause analysis for defects found in returned goods and serial products. Furthermore, the engineer will be tasked with optimizing current test programs and initiating process improvements aimed at significantly increasing the First Passed Yield. Candidates must possess a completed university degree in Electrical Engineering and bring initial professional experience in the development, testing, or production processes of circuit boards. Expertise in circuit technology, validation methodologies, and both analog and digital measurement techniques is required, alongside fluent German and good English skills.
