Job Summary
This role is for an IT Support Specialist focused on providing 1st and 2nd level technical assistance to users. Daily responsibilities include receiving and documenting IT inquiries and incident reports via telephone, email, and in-person. The specialist will analyze and classify incoming IT disruptions, escalating complex issues to administrators, and ensuring timely resolution tracking using a ticketing tool. A core function involves performing on-site installation of new hardware and software for end-users and providing general IT guidance and troubleshooting support for all user questions. Key qualifications include completed vocational training in IT (such as an IT Specialist for System Integration), strong knowledge of standard operating systems (Windows 10/11 and/or macOS X), and experience with MS Office/Microsoft 365 products. The position requires a high degree of service and customer orientation, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative team spirit. This is a full-time, permanent contract opportunity.
