Job Summary

This role is ideal for an Electrical Engineer specializing in Primary Technology, focusing on ensuring the operational readiness of new and innovative components and plant parts, particularly substations, within the regional grid area of Northeast Germany. The Specialist Engineer will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and billing of projects, prioritizing cost optimization and efficient personnel deployment. Key day-to-day activities include conducting and supervising functional tests, managing maintenance and troubleshooting for primary technical components in main systems, and evaluating completed maintenance and new construction projects. A crucial part of the job involves implementing new maintenance concepts, actively sharing technical knowledge, and designing practical training sessions for the team. This position offers the chance to actively contribute to the success of the energy transition in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern while working within a company responsible for powering over 18 million people.
