Job Summary

This crucial role involves acting as a Safety and Environmental Engineer within the central Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department of HENSOLDT, a leading European defense technology company. The specialist will consult management and departments on occupational safety, environmental protection, and health matters. Daily responsibilities include conducting HSE audits and site inspections, performing incident cause analyses, and contributing to accident prevention measures. A core task is the creation of risk assessments (Gefährdungsbeurteilungen) and managing hazardous materials, ensuring strict legal compliance. Furthermore, the role requires active participation in maintaining and developing the integrated management systems (ISO 14001, 45001, 50001). Success in this position requires a relevant engineering degree, certification as an Occupational Safety Specialist, and fluency in both German and English.
