Job Summary

This role involves executing and optimizing industrial-scale recombinant protein purification processes at a leading biotechnology company in Göttingen. Key responsibilities include operating, preparing, and maintaining sophisticated production equipment, particularly utilizing techniques like Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF). The associate will also be responsible for analyzing purified proteins using various analytical methods, such as HPLC, and actively contributing to process optimization projects. Crucial to the role is meticulous documentation, including the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. The ideal candidate holds a vocational qualification (CTA, MTA, BTA, or equivalent) and possesses prior experience in protein purification within an industrial setting, coupled with a reliable and autonomous work ethic.
