Job Summary

This role is central to securing the future power grid by equipping it with modern metering technology for a leading German transmission system operator. The engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced metering points in large customer facilities, including energy storage, wind, and photovoltaic plants. Day-to-day tasks involve conducting pre-tests and configurations of metering components in the laboratory, performing on-site fault measurements, and managing comprehensive documentation within the SAP system. This position requires a completed degree in Electrical Engineering and a highly independent, practical working style. A critical requirement is the willingness to undertake regular, multi-day business trips across the entire network area and the ability to work safely at heights. Candidates must possess excellent German language skills (C1) and good English proficiency (B1-B2), contributing directly to Germany’s energy transition goals.

Completed university degree (Bachelor, Master, or Diploma) in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification

Experience
