Job Summary

This role involves working as a Functional AIT Engineer for AIRBUS Defence and Space, focusing on crucial testing campaigns for aerospace hardware. Key responsibilities include executing Thermal-Vacuum Test Campaigns (TVAC) and Calibration & Characterization Campaigns (C&C), often requiring multi-month shift work. The engineer will maintain and improve test procedures, critically evaluate results, and perform detailed analysis and correlation of events to identify root causes and implement pragmatic solutions under time pressure, ensuring flight hardware safety. Collaboration with project teams to define optimal test strategies (quality, time, cost) and supporting non-conformance investigations according to company quality standards are also central. Candidates must possess a completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or Embedded Systems, coupled with professional experience in space standards (ECSS), SCOS2k databases, and network management.
