Job Summary

This critical role seeks a Software Architect to define and maintain the technical architecture for advanced simulation, instructor, and debriefing stations used by AIRBUS Defence and Space. Day-to-day responsibilities include communicating directly with stakeholders and customers, and translating requirements into robust architectural designs. You will be responsible for designing intuitive Qt/QML-based user interfaces, organizing the code base, defining system integration points, and ensuring software scalability and maintainability. A strong focus is placed on hands-on development, rigorous testing, and maintenance of clean, efficient code, including performing code reviews and mitigating technical risks. Furthermore, the position involves mentoring and training junior engineers in Qt/QML development and core architectural principles, making strong communication and team leadership skills essential.
