Job Summary
This role involves the crucial task of planning, setting up, and commissioning a new production facility dedicated to cell and gene therapy products. The Process Engineer will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of equipment procurement, including creating detailed specifications, selecting necessary devices for cell therapeutic, USP, and DSP activities, and overseeing their qualification (FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ). A successful candidate must hold a Master’s or equivalent degree in Bioprocess Engineering or Biotechnology, coupled with experience in equipment qualification and facility planning, ideally within the cell and gene therapy field. The position requires strong organizational skills, basic knowledge of GMP standards, and fluent English proficiency. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree (Dipl.-Ing. or Master) in Bioprocess Engineering, Biotechnology, or comparable field.
Experience
- Experience in equipment qualification
- Experience in facility planning
- Professional experience in cell and gene therapy processes (ideally)
- Basic knowledge in the GMP environment
