Job Summary

This role involves contributing to the development, integration, and maintenance of complex, hardened IT systems and components for military communication and defense platforms. The IT Specialist will be responsible for the installation, networking, and maintenance of hardware and software components, particularly focusing on Windows and Linux operating systems. Key daily tasks include setting up and maintaining IT support and testing systems used across development, testing, and manufacturing stages, as well as creating and updating technical documentation and device manuals. The ideal candidate must possess a background in IT or Electrical Engineering, strong knowledge of operating systems, computer networks, and IT security, and excellent German language skills. This position offers the opportunity to work in cross-functional teams within the defense sector, supporting critical systems for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) and requires a systematic, quality-conscious approach and willingness to travel for customer training and integration tasks.
