This Research Data Manager role involves supporting scientists in their research endeavors by overseeing essential information resources and promoting Open Access initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include comprehensive media stock management, covering acquisition, detailed cataloging utilizing standards like RDA and K10plus/PICA/WinIBW, and license administration. You will be responsible for providing crucial literature support, managing user accounts, and handling interlibrary loans, alongside planning and conducting training sessions, particularly on literature research methods. A core function is managing the Open Access Fund, which requires publication consulting, reviewing funding applications, developing policy guidelines, and handling contract management. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Library or Information Management or possesses several years of relevant professional experience in library science.
