Job Summary

This Security Engineer role, based in Kiel, Germany, is a temporary full-time position (up to 24 months) within a renowned international industrial group. The primary focus is supporting the development of IT platforms by ensuring robust security measures. Day-to-day tasks involve conducting thorough IT security analyses, evaluations, and penetration tests, and actively identifying, assessing, and remediating security vulnerabilities in products (PSIRT). The engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing IT security policies, procedures, and solutions, serving as the key internal and external contact for information security matters. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification, possess strong analytical skills, and be proficient with relevant security standards, Group Policy, SBOM, Git, VM, and container technologies. Excellent communication, teamwork, and fluency in both German and English are essential for success in this critical security function.
