Job Summary

This full-time, temporary position (until December 2027) is ideal for an experienced Software Developer ready to manage the entire software development lifecycle within the critical Life Insurance sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing functional requirements, moving from analysis and conception through implementation, integration, testing, documentation, and production deployment. A core focus will be on realizing new developments, maintaining existing applications, and creating REST services essential for digitalization efforts. The role also requires analyzing complex business processes and consulting specialized departments on technical solutions. Successful candidates must hold a degree in Computer Science or comparable IT training and demonstrate robust application development experience. Proficiency in Java, specific frameworks (Quarkus, Spring Boot), container technologies (OpenShift, Kubernetes), and development tools like Git and Jenkins is mandatory, alongside strong analytical skills and fluent German (C1) communication.
