This Scientific Officer role focuses on driving the practical implementation of critical future topics, including climate protection, circular economy, resource efficiency, and sustainability, within industrial product development. The core responsibilities involve independently advancing the field of Ecodesign, researching and structuring knowledge on methodologies, digital development processes, and Product-Service Systems, and implementing practical tools to support industry, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises. The successful candidate will also be responsible for evaluating applications for national R&D funding programs based on research findings. This position requires building a strong network across science, industry, and policy to promote resource conservation and circular economy initiatives, demanding strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex sustainable development concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
