Job Summary

This key position involves leading the Situation Tracking Center (LVZ) and actively managing permanent situation monitoring within the highly sensitive Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) domain. Day-to-day responsibilities include the continuous observation and assessment of the CBRN situation, processing relevant topics from various technical fields, and advising superior entities on critical matters. The officer is responsible for ensuring comprehensive information evaluation and dissemination across national and international contexts. Furthermore, the role requires preparing detailed scientific reports and documentation related to CBRN threats. Success in this position demands an innovative, flexible, and highly analytical individual capable of coordinating vital exchanges with domestic and foreign expert bodies and partners, ensuring effective recognition and countering of CBRN threats for Swiss security.

Completed University or Technical College Degree

Experience

  • Professional experience related to ABC defense (CBRN defense) and CBRN threat assessment
  • Experience as a Staff Officer in Operations and/or Intelligence is advantageous
