Job Summary

This pivotal role as a Specialist in Finance, Controlling, and Taxes serves as the operational core for all commercial matters across a family-led technology group comprising four entities with a total revenue of approximately €15 million. The specialist will manage the full scope of financial accounting, including preparing monthly and preliminary annual statements according to HGB, and coordinating closely with external tax advisors. A major component involves internal reporting and controlling, requiring the preparation of monthly reports, liquidity overviews, and detailed variance analyses (target/actual comparisons). Furthermore, the role ensures tax compliance by preparing necessary documentation for VAT and income taxes. The ideal candidate possesses a strong hands-on mentality and proven expertise in external accounting and controlling, preferably gained within an SME environment or tax consultancy. This position offers high responsibility, direct reporting to management, and the chance to actively drive process optimization and digitalization within a stable, long-term focused company.

Required Skills

Education

Commercial training (e.g., Certified Accountant, Tax Specialist) or degree in Business Administration

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable, operationally focused function
  • Experience working in a medium-sized company (SME) or a tax consultancy is preferred
  • Proven ability to work highly independently with a strong hands-on mentality
