Job Summary

This Project Engineer role focuses on critical HVDC (High-Voltage Direct Current) control technology, specifically managing SCADA Communication Gateway components. The core responsibilities include creating and maintaining detailed technical specifications and manuals, coordinating signal lists with internal interfaces, external customers, and suppliers, and managing the central control system signal database. A key task involves configuring the central data gateway (IPCOMM ipConv) and various protocol converters. The engineer is responsible for system integration and commissioning of these components within test setups located in Erlangen and Forchheim, ensuring flawless communication and conducting signal tests. Candidates must possess a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Computer Science, coupled with professional experience in control technology for energy transmission systems. This position offers a long-term assignment with Siemens Energy, focusing on complex project execution and technical coordination within specialized energy infrastructure.
