Job Summary

This role is for a Hardware Engineer specializing in safety control technology within the engineering and power plant construction sector, based in Erlangen. The primary responsibilities involve creating comprehensive manufacturing documentation for control cabinets, ensuring compliance with functional specifications based on qualified hardware platforms. Day-to-day tasks include performing critical calculations related to electrical parameters, such as current consumption, power loss, and voltage drop, as well as estimating operational temperatures. The engineer will utilize a document management system for administration and coordinate closely with teams during manufacturing, testing, and commissioning phases to finalize customer documentation. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Automation Technology, possesses initial professional experience, and demonstrates strong written and verbal proficiency in both German and English.
