Job Summary

This role is centered on ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of the crucial CAD and PDM system landscape for a leading company specializing in engineering and power plant construction. The 3D CAD Application Support Engineer will be responsible for providing expert support for engineering software, particularly the AVEVA Toolsuite (including E3D, Engineering, and Diagrams), working closely with various technical departments. Key daily activities involve managing operational tasks, ranging from gathering specific user requirements to implementing them within the respective CAD systems, providing direct user support, and assisting during significant software release changes. Furthermore, the role requires strategic participation in CAD/PDM projects to efficiently meet departmental needs. Candidates should possess a relevant technical degree or professional qualification, at least three years of practical professional experience, strong IT affinity, and excellent knowledge of AVEVA systems, complemented by initial experience with electrical design tools like EPLAN.
