Job Summary

This critical role supports environmental protection by ensuring the correct handling and classification of special and hazardous waste for a leading disposal specialist. The Chemical Specialist is responsible for the identification, declaration, and classification of special and laboratory chemical waste, adhering strictly to waste and hazardous materials legislation. Day-to-day duties involve independently sampling incoming waste, accurately weighing containers, planning liquid outputs, and maintaining the acceptance and storage areas. You will also assist with monthly inventory counts. The ideal candidate possesses a completed education as a Chemical Technician or Chemical-Technical Assistant, practical expertise in chemistry, and ideally, experience in the waste management sector.
