Job Summary
This role involves taking professional responsibility for managing and coordinating 1st-Level IT Support within an international manufacturing company specializing in high-quality engine components. The coordinator will manage the entire ticket lifecycle, from acceptance and categorization to resolution or escalation to 2nd/3rd-Level support or external service providers, potentially across multiple locations. Key daily tasks include analyzing and resolving software and hardware issues, both remotely and on-site, ensuring thorough documentation of all fixes, and maintaining current IT documentation. The specialist is also responsible for administering software distribution, creating new jobs/packages for timely rollouts, coordinating system updates, and managing the procurement, installation, and configuration of all client hardware, including desktops, notebooks, and mobile devices (iOS/Android). Success requires a strong background in IT helpdesk operations, excellent communication skills, and a high degree of service orientation.
Required Skills
Education
Vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in IT Helpdesk
- Experience with ticket systems and related processes
- Proven experience in solving, managing, and coordinating IT tickets
- Experience in categorizing tickets and escalating to 2nd/3rd-Level support or external providers, including cross-location coordination
