Job Summary

This role involves supporting the Material Testing Institute of North Rhine-Westphalia (MPA NRW) by focusing on mechanical and technological testing of metals and metallic building products. Day-to-day responsibilities include the organization, execution, and documentation of various tests such as tensile testing, fatigue testing, and hardness testing, alongside metallographic examinations and sample preparation. The Materials Tester will also be responsible for maintaining and servicing testing machines and evaluating test results. Key qualifications include a completed vocational training as a Materials Tester specializing in metal technology, strong technical understanding, and proficiency in MS Office and testing machine control software. Experience in the testing field is desirable.
