This role requires a Scientific Project Coordinator to act as the central hub for managing complex scientific, legal, and financial aspects of research collaborations across Germany and the USA within the Discovery Sciences Chapter. The coordinator will independently manage grant programs, ensuring close collaboration with internal departments (Legal, Patents) and external political and academic stakeholders to maintain compliance and minimize risk. Key responsibilities include managing grant-related financial reporting for complex national and international projects and contributing analytical expertise to global, cross-functional project teams. The successful candidate must hold a PhD in Life Science or Biomedicine and possess 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, particularly in managing industry-academic funding programs. This position is crucial for securing the success of research programs focused on Infectious Diseases and Technology, offering a chance to transform promising foundational research into impactful diagnostic results within a dynamic R&D environment.
