Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Maritime Commissioning Technician, specializing in the integration of complex sound, lighting, video, and broadcast systems aboard new cruise ship constructions (PROTONES Maritime division). Day-to-day tasks include independent execution and implementation of assigned project tasks on site, material verification, ensuring projects meet current technical standards, and regular coordination with foremen. The technician is also responsible for maintaining site cleanliness, supporting trainees, and ensuring workplace safety and equipment protection. Key requirements include a successfully completed technical education in Electrical or Event Technology, deep knowledge of media and low-voltage technology, and a high degree of willingness to travel.
