Job Summary

This role involves taking responsibility for the conception, development, and maintenance of the data architecture for the German Insurance Association (GDV) in Berlin. The Senior Data Engineer will be instrumental in designing scalable data models, defining data strategies, and ensuring the seamless integration of various data sources. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing robust database designs, optimizing complex ETL processes, and developing and managing cloud-based data solutions. You will work closely with Data Analytics teams to ensure a unified and stable data infrastructure while supporting the implementation of data governance policies. Candidates must possess a degree in a relevant technical field and at least eight years of professional experience, coupled with expertise in relational and NoSQL databases and major cloud data platforms.
