Job Summary

This senior role as Head of the Finance Department involves leading a significant team of 20 professionals, including three finance specialists, within the Weinsberg Municipal Administrative Association. The core responsibilities encompass comprehensive financial management for four member municipalities, including general treasury duties, budget execution, and the preparation of budgets and financial statements. Beyond core financial duties, the role requires managing diverse administrative areas such as contract, cemetery, forestry, and fire department affairs, along with extensive committee work. A unique aspect is the required dual role as Managing Director for several key entities, including Stadtwerke Weinsberg GmbH, two development companies, and a citizen foundation, alongside the commercial management of the municipal construction yard. Candidates must possess the required civil service qualifications for the senior service, significant administrative experience in finance, strong conceptual thinking, assertiveness, and proven leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate staff.
