Job Summary
This role focuses on the conception and development of robust hardware and firmware for advanced electroacoustic devices used in digital underwater communication and submarine sonar systems within the military sector. The Electronics Engineer will be responsible for developing analog and digital circuits, creating layouts using ECAD tools, and implementing hardware-near programming using C, Assembler, and VisualDSP on DSP and microcontroller platforms. A key aspect involves modeling system architectures using UML, commissioning prototypes, and performing rigorous debugging and verification tests for deployment in hardened marine and defense environments. The engineer is also expected to proactively identify complex technical challenges, plan their implementation, and coordinate closely with interdisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering and possesses several years of experience in hardware development and low-level programming.
